## Public boundary

- `applicationId` is a tenant identifier, not a secret or an authorization mechanism.
- Browser access requires an origin registered by ShopStory.
- The retailer system supplies current stock and cart results and handles fulfilment and customer authentication.
- `body.products[].feedProductAvailable` is a boolean feed snapshot, not a live stock lookup or unit count. The Public API has no stock endpoint.
- Store-level stock reaches the player through the Web SDK availability handler `actions.resolveProductsAvailability`, called with the feed product ids of the current stream; the retailer site queries its own stock API with its own session and returns a map of ids to booleans. A missing id means unknown, never out of stock. `ShopStorySDK.refreshProductsAvailability()` re-runs it after a store change. ShopStory never calls the retailer stock API itself and stores no stock data.
- Web SDK reports cart results through a boolean callback. Mobile SDK delivers a typed native action; the host may open its PDP or run its cart command. For a cart action, the retailer system checks stock and changes the cart.
- The extended commerce contract supports feed/API product sources, real SKU options, shopper-specific conditions and merchant-confirmed cart actions. Its examples show merchant adapter logic; verify handler support and registration against the supplied SDK version's instructions. Do not generate SDK initialization from the adapter example. These handlers are not Public API HTTP endpoints.
- ShopStory sends private package locations, exact SDK versions, client-specific routes and payloads, credentials, service levels and rollout details directly to the assigned partner team.
- Do not infer support for fields or behavior that are absent from the current OpenAPI and guides.
